Eid Mubarak

Hello everyone,

First of all, you may know that Eid Mubarak, as we call it in Malaysia, Hari Raya, is just around the corner. Everyone will be busy meeting their family members and old lads. Some people may not know anything about Hari Raya. The definition of Hari Raya is a traditional muslim greeting resereved for us. This happens after every Ramadhan month, known as the fasting month. It's a blessing that Allah S.W.T gives to us.

WHAT WE DO DURING HARI RAYA

In Malaysia, we'll mostly go back to our hometown and meet all our family members. Basically, in our hometowns we'll do feasts to gather all family members. Then, we apologize our mistakes and we''l go to some of our late family members grave and pray for their safety. In neighbourhoods, we'll greet our neighbours who visits our home.

WHAT WE WEAR DURING HARI RAYA

We would wear : Baju Kurung for the girls and Baju Melayu for the boys. In cotton material

Nowadays, there is many new fashion trends, and our looks changes. In Malaysia,for the girls, womens and teens are into wearing Jubah. Jubah is a one piece clothing, something similar to maxi dresses but with long sleeves. Most Raya clothing are in Lycra material.

THE FUN PART OF HARI RAYA :)

We're able to celebrate Hari Raya with our fellow friends. Meet our cousins, and play with them. Gain our weight by eating Mum's delicious baked cookies.

There are many things we can do during Hari Raya. To all muslim friends or muslim readers, we wish you Selamat Hari Raya!
